Only a master of the forge can create the strong but flexible Kosh steel. In the process, ordinary steel is molten at high temperature and some special ingredients are added. After cooling in a stony mould, the steel is heated up again until it glows deeply red and then quenched in cold water. Thus, it becomes much stronger than ordinary steel.
Finally however, it needs to be tempered at 250 degrees Centigrade for twenty minutes.
